memory of Prof.Dr. Martin Vogel: "The Libyan Drift of Culture"

This year, on April 1st , Professor Vogel has died in his 84th year.
The last two books of his numerous publications were engaged in
the origin of European and Oriental music, whose roots he supposed
to be in Northern Africa. A half century of intensive research is
based on these two books, and he wanted to present their most important
statements himself at this symposium. Now the task is taken on by
Johannes Kotschy.
